A total of 24 players have a salary cap hit of more than $20 million for the upcoming 2020 NFL season. Here are the three players with the highest salary cap hits:

1. Dak Prescott – The Dallas Cowboys quarterback, who is due to become an unrestricted free agent following this season, has a salary cap hit of $31.4 million for the 2020 season. Prescott was awarded the 1-year contract due to the Cowboys placing the exclusive franchise tag on him in March.

2. Russell Wilson – Wilson became the league’s highest-paid quarterback in 2019 after signing a 4-year, $140 million extension with the Seattle Seahawks. His 2020 salary cap hit, however, is second behind Prescott at $31 million.

3. Jared Goff – The first overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft signed a 4-year, $134 million extension with the Los Angeles Rams in September 2019. The contract, which includes $110 million in guaranteed salary, carries a $28.8 million salary cap hit for the 2020 season.
